Hi everyone! This is Ben Cook. I hope you’ve all had a great summer and are almost ready for a new school year (again, almost). I’m excited for my very good friend Nichole Hill to take over as the new choir teacher at HTMS. As a choir parent, I’m thrilled that my child will have the opportunity to learn from her. She’s a fantastic teacher and is highly skilled at working with young voices. I’ll still be around, as I have time built into my schedule to come and assist at the middle school.

For those of you whose children will be at the high school, I invite you to follow the page linked below. I’m excited to have so many of your kids again at the next level, and I believe we have a fantastic year ahead of us! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything.

Our sixth-grade choir students had fun in Six Flags and brought some new hardware home to HTMS!

Congratulations to our HTMS Beginning Choir! They competed in the Music in the Parks festival at Six Flags against schools from five states and won first place in their class and the overall award for best middle school choir. They earned superior ratings and were awarded the highest scores out of all middle school choirs present. Way to go, sixth-graders!
