🌟 MEMBER SPOTLIGHT 🌟

Pam joined Harmony on the Sound in 1997 as a way to decompress from a remarkable 40-year career in medicine — spanning EMT work, podiatry, the emergency room, and over two decades in gastroenterology. Naturally, she found her people. A self-described shy person (though few would guess it), Pam is known for her humor, her kindness, and her habit of breaking into song at a moment's notice — usually triggered by something someone just said. She has served the chorus as both housing coordinator and membership coordinator, and outside of rehearsals she stays plenty busy crafting, reading, and sharing a lively home with her husband, their daughter, and three of their six grandchildren. Pam says the chorus keeps her young and engaged, and she loves the way it brings together people from all walks of life — which, coming from someone who has spent a career caring for people, means everything.

🌟Member Spotlight🌟

Lisa has been a beloved member of Harmony on the Sound Chorus since 1992, when a friend's invitation to "see what she did on Wednesday nights" turned into a lifelong passion. A lead singer and Assistant Director, she has poured her heart into the chorus for over three decades — contributing to the choreography (now Visual) team since 1994, serving on the management team, and helping shape the sound and soul of the group in countless ways. Off the risers, Lisa is a woman of remarkable generosity and creativity: she crochets blankets for the PICU at Yale, coaches singing for her school's drama show, watercolor paints, meditates, and squeezes in Broadway shows whenever she can. Recently retired, she now tutors math and literacy at West Shore Middle School part time, and cherishes every moment with her four grandchildren. Her chorus friends would describe her as a kind, creative soul who listens and cares above all else — and anyone who knows her schedule understands completely why she goes to bed early!
