Under Suspicion, 30”x30” , oil on canvas. Yep it’s (finally) an oil ! I’ve come full circle in the last 9 years to oil painting again. The fall of 2017 I decided to completely break down my art and start with pens and pencils basics..fast forward 9 ( wonderful) art years and I’ve come home to my favorite media while somehow gaining a new perspective on everything about it. I’ve learned so much and hope to not only apply these but throw in some new tricks going forward. Thank you to everyone for all the support and encouragement you’ve given it has made all the difference❤️

This is the first of a two painting commission that I have been working on the majority of the summer. To have a bald eagle commission on our 250th year is pretty great and I am thankful to the collectors and Piper J Gallery for giving me this unique opportunity!

There You Are 24”x30”🔴sold
Soooo this lil bear started all the hullabaloo! It has been up in Ridgeline Gallery since May and has inspired more commissions than any other work I’ve created! This original sold recently and there are two more larger ones on the way 🙂 Sooo if you see similar ones posted it’s not dejavu it’s just me getting a chance to revisit one of my favorite works in a much larger scale:)

“Spring Shed” was accepted into the inaugural Cowgirl Gathering Art Show a couple years ago in the Fort Worth Stockyards and subsequently won the People’s Choice Award. It has remained there on display ever since until a couple weeks ago when I went to visit it one last time and released it for sale. Whelp today it sold and it will be heading to Nevada with a new collector! This work appeared in Southwest Art magazine and is still featured on my business cards. It had a profound impact on my career and I will always think of it with a smile on my face.
