Like I said before, keep your drinks away from my equipment and off my table.
I will definitely play your request as long as it has not been played before and when the time is right.
Telling me to kill a song because you don’t like it is never gonna happen. Once a song has started, it will proceed to play. You may not like it, but there’s other people there that do especially if they’re dancing or they may have been the one to request it.
A DJ is there to entertain all of the guests. If you hear music that you don’t like, and you don’t care for, don’t ask us to kill the song. It’s not going to happen.

This is why I push your drinks away, this is why I do not let you set drinks on my table or on my speakers.  Please do not hang your drink over my table when coming up to request a song or to just genuinely talk to me because this stuff is real and it does happen.

A new thing that has happened to me a couple times this year and there’s no shame, but it’s ok to introduce your bridesmaids and your groomsmen as a group instead of individually or who they are paired with. 
It actually made the reception a little quicker to open up the dance floor longer. The longer you take with your individual dances, your speeches, dinner, cake, garter, bouquet, etc…It really does lessen your time for fun on the dance floor. I’m hired to make things fun and play music at the appropriate times.
Quite honestly, I have heard from more folks that wish they had more time to dance. In doing this, make your events at your reception shorter or completely omit them. 
Just some observations I’ve seen.
