The 22nd season of the Powers Park Concert Series will be kicking off tomorrow, 7/12, beginning at 6pm. Come join us for an extreme dance Party at the park, with one of the most long running, iconic bands in the region, The Refrigerators taking over the Neil Kelleher Stage.
The park itself was donated in the late 1800s by the Powers family (Deborah Powers, then sons Albert & Nathaniel), intended as a public green space.
Since 2004, the popular series has brought in thousands of music lovers from the 518, as well as our neighboring states of Massachusetts, & Vermont.
Here's a few things you should know about the Powers Park Concert Series
🎤 What Happens There:
Music Lineup: Showcases local and regional bands across genres—classic rock, blues, R&B, country, tribute acts.
Added Attractions:
Food trucks, non-alcoholic beverages, face painting, occasional car shows, and themed nights (e.g., Veterans’ Night, tribute nights) .

Now in its 22nd season, it regularly draws thousands and is considered a highlight of Troy’s summer calendar.
The series acts as a neighborhood gathering spot, supporting local musicians, businesses, and community engagement.
A weekly 50/50 raffle is also held, with the funds collected going directly, to help fund future weekly concerts.
