Where do I even begin?

Last year I took a break from pageantry to focus on what life had throw at us. It was the hardest year of my life. I told Austin I wanted to compete again. I wanted a way to find my spark back. Regain my confidence and do something for myself.

I entered Amerifest.
I’m so glad I did!

From being crowned Mrs. Great Lakes Amerifest to being crowned Mrs. US Beauty Supreme (4th place) at Nationals! There’s few times I’ve said I was proud of myself and this is one of those times. I came in with a goal to make top 5 for my first year and I DID!

Thank you to my husband, Austin, for always believing in me and being my #1 supporter.

Thank you to all my friends and family for cheering me on and supporting this new journey.

Thank you to the Ohio/Great Lakes Amerifest family for welcoming me with open arms. Especially Carrie Layne for being such a wonderful Director and mentor.

Day 4: Why did you choose to compete at Amerifest Nationals?

I love the Amerifest motto “It’s more than just”

Pageants are more than just gowns, glam, and stage lights. It’s true friendships, community, service, confidence, self improvement, and so much more.

Competing in pageants has helped me in so many ways. Being a competitor is not only fun and rewarding but has pushed me to be the best version of myself.

I choose to compete this year to push myself to try something new, grow as a competitor, gain new experiences, and have fun!

Day 3: Who are your pageant besties? Who are you bringing with you?

I’ve met so many incredible people this year! Ohio Amerifest welcomed me with open arms and I’m so grateful! It can be nerve racking entering a new system where you know no one. The Ohio team have been nothing but kind. ❤️

I’ll be traveling to Nationals by myself! This will be the longest road trip I’ve taken on my own and I’m so excited!

Day 2: What’s your favorite community service platform?

Rainbow Stitches!

I started Rainbow Stitches after I suffered through a miscarriage in March of 2025. We offer free care packages to women going through pregnancy and infant loss. These packages include a homemade crochet baby blanket to honor their baby and provide comfort in their time of grief.

Crochet was a hobby of mine before my pregnancy and I found myself using it as a healing tool after my miscarriage. The crochet baby blanket I had made for myself brought me a lot of hope and comfort so I decided to try and provide the same to others going through a challenging time.

As I head to Nationals, I’m grateful for the opportunity to share about my service project. I’ve sent out over a dozen care packages and counting in just the last two months! I’m blessed to share my experience and how I’m striving to help other moms. ❤️🌈

My name is Alyssa Stamm, your current Mrs. Great Lakes Amerifest. I’m from Troy, OH where I live on the farm with my husband Austin, our three cats, 18 chickens, and lots of cows!
