We also extend our deep gratitude to APM’s outgoing Assistant Music Director and Accompanist Noah Palmer, and Orchestra Concertmaster and Contractor Ann Marie Barker-Schwartz. Noah and Ann Marie each brought enormous talent, passion, and creativity to Albany Pro Musica during their many years of music-making with the organization, and we wish them all the best as they pursue some exciting new artistic projects!

We're all saddened by the passing of Dolly Parton yesterday. She brought such joy and empathy into the world through her music, her intelligence and humor, and her remarkable generosity. Thank you, Dolly, for sharing your light with us.

Saturday's performance was full of JOY! We were thrilled to perform Beethoven's Ninth with Maestro Yannick Nézet-Séguin, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and the phenomenal quartet of soloists at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Congrats on 60 years of incredible music, and cheers to the next 60! 🎉

The New York City Ballet kicks off its 60th summer at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center TONIGHT with an enchanting performance of "A Midsummer Night's Dream," with music by Felix Mendelssohn and choreography by George Balanchine. A 12-voice treble choir from Albany Pro Musica joins the orchestra and soloists to add to the magic. We hope to see you there!
