I am so blessed!!

Recently I have been given so many opportunities with and I am excited to share about it all!! I will start by sharing this piece, a logo for the Troy University Huo Bao Zhu Gallery. I am honored to have had this opportunity, to share this logo, and to have this lasting mark at Troy University!

So often I question what people see in me or my work. Why do others see so much potential in ME when there are so many others who, to me, seem so much more equipped to do the job? One thing I find myself struggling with is my insecurities on what people think of my work. Do others think that because I love simplicity that I am not a good designer? When I charge for my work, do others think the money I’m charging is worth the price? I ask myself these questions more than I’d like to say. It is easy for me to compare my work to others’ and feel like it is not good enough. I believe everyone struggles with insecurities to some level. I am here to tell you to not listen to the lies you’re telling yourself! Everyone is given a gift! It is your choice to use your gift the way you see fit and stop comparing yourself to others. Your gift is unique in its own way and that is what makes what you do so special. Let’s work together on looking at others’ work for INSPIRATION, not for self-destruction, and for seeing YOUR POTENTIAL, not comparing yourself to others!
