BIG INK, in collaboration with Speedball Art Products, is hosting an epic printmaking workshop! Participants will have the chance to carve a woodblock up to 40 by 96 inches at home, and then, print their carving on a giant custom-built printing press in Statesville, NC.
No prior experience is necessary to join this creative journey. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can work as a team to carve your woodblock. Additionally, limited scholarships are available for full-time students.
BIG INK is an art-education program led by Lyell Castonguay. Castonguay, an award-winning illustrator, has dedicated his life to spreading the joy of printmaking and inspiring others to push their creative boundaries.
