That’s a wrap on our Junior Stock Contractor Summer Camp!
We finished strong on our last day, starting with an awesome judging seminar led by Brian Storie. The kids learned firsthand what judges look for when scoring bucking bulls — and then got to put those new skills to the test!

After the seminar, they took everything they’ve learned this week and bucked their bulls in front of their families. It was amazing to see their confidence and excitement as they stepped into the arena and showed off their hard work.

A huge thank you to Matt Smith, Noel Solis, Michael Wright, and Eli Miller for taking time out of their day to help us with camp. We truly couldn’t have done it without your support!

And of course, a big thank you to our incredible sponsors — this camp wouldn’t be possible without you!

Now the kids are gearing up and excited to compete this Saturday at Jerome Davis, and we can’t wait to cheer them on!

It’s not even over yet — and we’re already brainstorming ways to make next year’s camp even better. We’re so proud of this group of kids and everything they’ve accomplished this week!

Day 2 of Junior Stock Contractor Camp is in the books!

Today was packed with hands-on learning and excitement! The kids got to pick the bulls they’ll be competing with later this week, learned what kind of training our bulls go through, dry worked them, and even practiced how to properly flank a bull.

One of the highlights? Each camper got to design their own flank tails—big thank you to Bucking Bull Pro for providing the flanks!

We wrapped up the day by bucking their calves, and even though it was one of the hottest days yet, the energy never dropped. These kids were all in, cheering each other on and showing incredible sportsmanship.

We’re so proud of this group—such a solid bunch of future stock contractors!

What a great night at our Horse Nutrition Seminar!
We had an incredible turnout and packed the house—literally! Huge thank you to Nina Orozco: Equine Nutrition Consultant & Brittany Rahm from Bluebonnet Feeds for leading such an informative and engaging discussion. From Feeds to supplements, they covered it all and answered so many great questions from everyone who came.

It’s always rewarding to bring horse owners together who care deeply about the health and performance of their animals. We’re grateful for the opportunity to host and share knowledge that makes a difference in our barns and pastures.

Day 1 of our Junior Stock Contractor Camp is in the books!

We kicked things off with an introduction to life on the ranch and what being a stock contractor is all about. The kids got to watch bulls buck and learn what we look for in their performance. They even got to jump right into the action—helping run in yearlings and giving them their vaccinations for some real hands-on experience!

We tipped a few bulls and were lucky to have Matt Benfield join us for an awesome presentation on hoof trimming. He ran our jersey through and showed the kids step-by-step how important hoof care is and what goes into keeping these animals healthy from the ground up.

It was a hot one today, but that didn’t stop these kids from soaking it all in and having a blast! Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
