Summer Art Fair Season!!
I actually started a few weeks back with the Cascadia Fine Arts Festival in Troutdale, OR. Rained out for the first day but a good return for the Sunday. Now----I start my 'one after another' Summer schedule--
June 26, 27 & 28---Lake Oswego Arts Festival. George Rogers Park in beautiful Lake Oswego, OR--Booth G4. I have done this Festival for over 20 years and it is ALWAYS a well-attended event with great art, food and music on the shore of Lake Oswego
July 10.11.&12---The Oregon Country Fair. Held on its own woodland site in Veneta, OR---booth 981. This will be my 39th year presenting my jewelry in this unique event. Rarely seen art, music and diverse foods, this 'alternative' style Fair is an inversive, creative, fun experience! I am especially pleased this year to have a new booth neighbor--Erin Markee/Erin the Forest. A Mycologist and ceramicist specializing in charming mushroom and fungi cups, plates and oddities!
August 7. 8.& 9---Sunriver Art Fair in the lovely village of Sunriver, OR, tucked away in the forest resort on the Eastern side of the Cascade Mountains. I have presented my art here for the past 5 years and have been so very pleased by the well run and lovely arrangement of the whole event. Organized and presented by the Sunriver Woman's Club,
August 22 &23-----Silverton Arts Festival in Coolidge McClaine Park, Silverton, OR. Held in the center of the lovely forest and waterfall area East of Salem, and along Silver Creek, this small but dedicated festival features local Oregon Artists and is one of those special 'secret' events held in a historic location.
September 11,12 &13----Salem Art Fair & Festival. The 77th year of this legendary event held in beautiful Bush's Pasture Park in Salem, OR. I have presented at this Festival on and off for many years and it has been one of my most successful. A big open park with over 200 booths and live entertainment. It has recently moved dates from mid-July until early September, so this will be the first time for me attending in the 'after Labor Day' schedule.
A good variety of Fairs and Festivals all in lovely areas of Oregon!
