It's over almost seven year now!
I would live to hear from you. But this ship has sailed ne er to return. We shared a dream of a better world but the waking world will not be denied. You all live in my memories and dreams but the Four winds faire is closed and the land was stolen and sold. There Re no more horses no more stages. Just memories of joy and friendships never to return.

Who is meeting me at Golden China in Whitehouse tomorrow for the Bernie Sanders podcast at 4:00. Golden China is an excellent dining/meeting place with Marvelous Sushi and traditional Asian Fare. I hope to see a big turn out. Our community desperately needs to become a united front protecting all the diverse people's of East Texas, rights and values. No matter how you've voted in the past or what party you promote. You are welcome to meet and eat with us as we struggle to find the common ground between all East Texans and Americans. It all begins with a majority of our neighbors voting and the cosciensious discussion of our values and the candidates most likely to stand with our community and not be drawn into the selfish, self serving beltway politics of Washington D.C. I'll see you there!

The Four Winds Faire is soon to be gone forever! Thank you for the richest thirty years of my life. In truth it is not about the goal but the journey. I have riden with giants. Spent many happy hours with poets, inventors and thinkers of every cut. The extraordinary men and women who have chosen to walk the world outside the box are the best people. They make the world and I have been fortunate enough to exist within your circle. I wish these days would never end. But the tide waits for no man! Know that you were all Loved!

Haunts of Four Winds is looking for vendors, performers, characters and volunteers for the 2016 Haunts of Four Winds. This years show will Feature Two Haunted Houses, the Black Forest Trail, Haunted Hay ride, a murder Mystery theater, psychic readers, face painters, A zombie Fun run and a Witches/ Monster Ball and much more. Preliminary auditions and vendor spaces will be available tomorrow from 10 til noon. Future gatherings will be announced.

I am sorry to announce that Four Winds Oktoberfest must be cancelled. I am devoting myself to my family for the remains of 2015. Once we have recovered from crisis we will resume the show. Those that have paid booth fees please contact me or I will transfer those funds to booth rental for 2016. There will be no haunts either. Full moon Drum Jam is open to all and site is available for private party rental. Joust training is still offered. My schedule is just to full.

I want to thank everyone who came out for the faire reorganization meeting and party. I wish we had more space for everyone. As the weather warms we'll be spending most of our time at the site. I apologise for the standing room only problem. I really enjoyed talking with every one. I think we have a good plan to go on. The food was great and the conversation excellent.
I'm looking forward to kicking off the new Jousting programs and developing guilds and shows with all of our performance artists. The beauty of these changes are the opportunities that we can now take advantage of. Five new Faires in the February April time slot opens up tons of opportunities for a seasoned group of performance companies and guilds as does the film location angle. The support we are gaining from Scarborough faire friends for our September /October dates are truly exciting.
I look forward to working with everyone toward these goals on Saturday mornings. I'm still anxious to talk to everyone who could not make this meeting. Remember there are no small roles.

"And Now For Something Completely Different" My life is changing and I am taking over all the responsibilities of caring for my Dad and our businesses. This is a very tough time but also a very good time.The facts are, we will open on October 3-4 for the 2015 Four
Winds Oktoberfest. Last year we got 3000 people on a Saturday and I think this will be a great launch point for new dates. Our normal run dates have become too crowded with Renfaires to be effective. Using the Oktoberfest theme as a launch point also allows us to market to a different clientele while offering a product that is not so different. The new faire is going to be a lot more relaxed and I need many vendors and street performers. I would like the cast to transform into a number of autonomous groups with different specializations. I am looking for characters to attend other fairs with me as the knights of Four Winds. I need to train sword company and squires, as well as more knights. We will also need a dance guild and street characters as I hope to market a mobile faire company to other faires. The site will be open for weddings, private parties and movie shoots . I am constantly getting requests for bigger than life renfaire characters for film work. This time marks a transition for my family and this business. We are returning to our original goal. I hope to develop deeper friendships and opportunities for all of us. I would like to have a meeting on Saturday January 3rd at 1:00 to discuss with anyone interested our plans and the course of the future. Bring a food item or a drink to share and we'll make it a party. See you soon!

Do you play Magic? Do you like the Hobbit? Ready for a Hobbit Five Armies movie release party? Magic tournament and party this Friday from 7:00 til 10::00 at Hastings on Broadway, Tyler, Texas. Bring your friends win a prize! My son Anthony will be hosting the tournament. We need lots of people so he can keep his job playing magic!

My friend Carter a D.J. with Waller Broadcasting is living in a shipping container at the Broadway Square Mall through Monday. They are collecting Toys for area needy kids 12 and under. He has asked that I help get the word out and drum up some support. So we are having a Christmas Party on Saturday night, why not bring a gift for a needy child unwrapped to be placed in my trailer. I will go to the Mall on Sunday as the Knight before Christmas and make our donation from the cast, crew and friends of Four Winds Renaissance Faire. I'll go in armour with Sampson. I'd like anyone else who would like to come in costume to come too! We've done White elephant gift exchanges for years. Let's do something socially relevant this year! Let's show local families that they are important and loved by giving their kids a great Christmas. This would be an awesome opportunity to give away discount and Business cards as well as showing folks that there is a Renaissance Faire in East Texas.
