🎭✨ Trinity High School Theatre Takes on Broadway! ✨ 🎭
Last week, students from Trinity High School Theatre traveled to the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts to experience the Broadway musical The Great Gatsby — and what an incredible evening of theatre, learning, and inspiration it was!
For many of our students, this was their very first Broadway production, making the experience even more meaningful and memorable!
Our students have recently been exploring the art of theatrical adaptation, learning how classic novels, children's books, and other literary works can be transformed into live theatrical performances. Having the opportunity to see a beloved piece of American literature brought to life on a Broadway stage was the perfect way to connect their classroom learning to the professional world of Theatre.
The Great Gatsby was truly spectacular! We are so grateful that our students had the opportunity to witness this level of professional theatre firsthand.
We are incredibly proud of our students for representing Trinity High School with such enthusiasm, curiosity, and professionalism. Experiences like these remind us of the importance of arts education and the lasting impact that exposure to live theatre can have on young artists. There is something truly special about watching students discover the magic of Broadway!
HUGE thanks to Mrs. Spence, Mrs. Austin, and Mr. Mitchell for accompanying us on this trip, and to the Trinity High School Drama Boosters for their continued support of our students and theatre program.
Great things are happening in THS Theatre, both on and off the stage! We are so excited to continue creating meaningful opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and experience the incredible world of theatre!
