A heartfelt thank you and a bittersweet goodbye.

As this year nears to a close, I wanted to share some news from my heart. After 3 incredible years at my beautiful Commercial St location, I’ve made the difficult decision to close The Art Cottage space for public classes after the New Year. Holiday classes will still take place into the New Year. This space has been so much more than just four walls — it’s been a place of laughter, creativity, connection, and community. It’s where strangers became friends, where people discovered their creative side, and where I got to witness so many beautiful moments of joy and self-expression.

To everyone who has supported me — whether you took a class, brought a friend, shared a post, or simply cheered me on — thank you. You’ve been the reason this dream has come to life. Your encouragement and love have meant more to me than words can say. I’ve learned so much, not only about what it takes to run a brick-and-motar, but about the power of community and how creativity brings people together.

Although my brick-and-mortar space will be closing, this is not the end of our creative journey together. I still plan to host seasonal and pop-up art classes when able, so we can continue to paint, laugh, and make memories — just in a new way.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making these last three years such a colorful and meaningful chapter of my life. You’ve filled my studio with warmth, inspiration, and friendship that I’ll carry with me forever. ❤️
