Amy and I are proud to announce that the donation totals are in and the folks who visited and dropped something in the blue bucket on the table didn’t disappoint once again! Tonight we made a visit to the Ambulance Association to pick up our turkey platters and drop off two donations. My life long friend, Chief Brian Eisanacher and Justin Moeller from the Tremont Fire Company recieved $1336, and Amanda Webb and Mike Scheib from the Tremont Ambulance Association received $2,000, so it looks like the annual Santa Float will happen once again this year. These are the reasons we continue to put on the Haunt in the Mont, the donations stay local which in turn helps the residents of Tremont and surrounding towns. What we do compared to what the members of these two organizations do day in and day out is no comparison, so they deserve every penny. Thank you again from the Updegrave family for the continued support and we’ll see you all again next year.

Last night was the final night of the Haunt in the Mont 2025. With the wind we were expecting a slow night, by 7:00 we knew we were wrong. At the end of the night we had over 500 through the Haunt and gave a load of candy out. In the 6 nights we had over 1700 people through. We heard a lot of folks saying they seen us on tv, we met folks who drove from Wilkes barre, Mt. Top, Myerstown, Reading, Easton, Pottsville, Williams Walley, and so many more. It was a grind this year but in the end I think people really enjoyed the changes and additions. This month we were on WNEP and also a story in the Republican Harald which clearly helped traffic. Also new this year was food, two nights we had BIG DAWGZ COOK’N on-site which, given the constant lines, certainly helped bring people in, and we look forward to welcoming Beave and Shane again next year.. Tear down has begun today and donations totals and amounts will be soon. Amy, my parents, and I would like to thank everyone for the continued support, thanks to the Randazzo crew for spreading the word to their patrons, and thanks to everyone who shared our posts and helped spread the word. Thanks to all, we have over 1,000 followers on the Haunt. Same as other years, feel free to share any pictures, videos, or comments from this year.

Exhale…we’re going to give this wind a shot so we’ll be open at 6:00, hopefully we can make it until 9:00. Amy has a wagon load of candy, so please stop in. This is the last night to support the Ambulance and Fire company in Tremont.

One more night for the Haunt in the Mont 2025, Friday night (Halloween Night) October 31st from 6-9. I think the weather is going to clear up and hopefully we have another great turnout. We WILL have candy for the kids, and they DO NOT need to go through the Haunt to get some treats, so please stop by and grab some candy. Our "killer", no pun intended, anonymous donor once again stocked us with a bunch of candy. Stop in and check out the Haunt, or stop in to just say Hello! Because once Saturday morning rolls around, tear down begins and it usually comes down pretty quick. Happy Halloween Eve 2025

The Haunt in the Mont is a haunted home put on by the Updegrave family in Tremont. The Haunt features over 2300 square feet of Halloween 147 animatronics, decoratations and more for the last seven years. What an amazing, local attraction! Well done! 🎃

Saturday night, what can we say? Saturday 2024 we thought we had a good night at 162….saturday 2025 over 450. It was a hugely successful night! BIG DAWGZ COOK’N was packed, they had a line all night long and almost sold out of food! We had folks from Wilkes Barre, Ringtown, Lykens, Shamokin, Haven, just an unbelievable night. So many folks said, we seem you on TV, one group said it was the coolest haunt they’ve ever been through,this was not what we excepted, the attention to detail was brought up multiple times, it was positive comment after positive comment! We are open tonight from 6:30-9:30, no food tonight, and Halloween night from 6-9. Let’s keep the numbers rolling! Thank you to everyone that has shown up and threw a donation in the bucket, it all adds up and I’m sure our Ambulance and fire company will appreciate it. Of course, once again, Amy and I were too busy talking so we didn’t take any picture at all…..geez!

BIG DAWGZ COOK’N is officially open for today with their full menu. Stop in for some fantastic pulled pork or a great cheesesteak! They be open until 9:30 and the haunt will be open from 6:30-9:30 once again! Get out and support a veteran owned business and also some Tremont organizations at the Haunt! We’re on the Main Street of Tremont next to the red light.
