There is a big controversy about using plus size mannequins. Not that anybody cares what I think but here it goes. Everyone deserves great clothes no matter what size they are, so thank you Nike for advertising to us plus size people. Plus size people workout too and they go to the gym, walk, run, etc...Do you want us to do that naked? Lol 😂 I don’t think so. Why can’t we look cute to go work out just like everybody else? Plus size people have money to spend too. Fat doesn’t discriminate. There are fat doctors, lawyers, teachers, and yes, athletes, don’t think that your 350 pound NFL lineman is all muscle because that’s not true. Plus size people need to go to work and go on about their lives without being shamed for what we look like. It is damn if you do and damn if you don’t. If we dress poorly you say we look sloppy and when we want to look good you shame us for being happy and looking good. What is it? Let us live!!. I also dislike when people who know nothing about the plus size industry write articles for likes, clicks and controversies. Support those who know about the industry, who work hard to create great content for you guys to enjoy. Share those articles, comment on those posts, make those go viral. I also want to say that I’m loyal to certain brands because I like what they stand for and because they make great products. I’ve been wearing Nike since I was a teenager, since their Michael Jordan days and I love this brand, that is why I’m wearing Nike head to toe, socks, shoes, top and leggings. This is not a sponsored post, I bought this outfit with my own money. Lastly, if people are having a fit over a mannequin, imagine what it will be like if uses real plus size models or influencers. So whats good? Let’s break the internet, wanna collaborate? Let’s do it!! 🙂💪 🏃♀️
