Casting call:
Seeking male and female actors for a short film, “False Edge.” Shooting will take place over weekends in the Traverse City area.

The film:
“False Edge” is a dramatic thriller set in the forest of Northern Michigan. In this film noir influenced story, two lifelong friends go on a hunting trip and end up hunting each other.

Petty is an insecure guy who’s trying to build up the confidence to take on his alpha-male friend.

Compensation
While this is a no-budget production, everyone involved is extremely committed to producing a high-quality short film. We plan to enter it into film festivals, and contests, gaining as much exposure as possible.

Interested?
Experience is not required. Please contact us via facebook message or call 231-421-5606. Headshots are helpful but not required. Depending on response, we will either set up individual readings or a group audition.

VOICE WORK! We've asked before, and connected with a couple people, but we'll re-issue the search again... Looking for local (NLM) persons interested in doing voice work. We are developing a new intro for future YT comedy video projects. The voice we are looking for, for this, should be a nice bass, radio-quality voice. Please message us if you are interested, or know of someone who may be, so we can give more details on how to get a demo to us. Thanks!

Breaking news! Over the next two weeks, team candycornf will be working on scripting a video project and setting up a production schedule. Along with this, we also will be reviewing those who came in to audition on June 26th, and as needed, scheduling calls backs to do role-specific auditions. So, dust off your funny and get ready, cuz HERE ... WE ... GO!

Coming in to audition today? (3:30-6:30, at Espresso Bay in TC.) Whether you've signed up or not, if you do plan to come in to audition today, here is the brief (~30 second) comedic monologue for today's audition:

"Okay, listen. I'm just going to be up front with you. When you sat down, I heard the bubbles popping. You're wearing bubble wrap underwear. You wrapped your package in bubble wrap, didn't you? So, either you tell me which side you're wearing the bubbles on or I'm gonna start popping. And I swear to God, that better not be pink bubble wrap!"

We'll have printed copies on hand at the audition. Each audition will be called in in the order of arrivals, and each one will last about 5-10 minutes. For more information, see the "TO ALL WHO..." post on our page, below.

See you there!

Did you know? The trio who founded YouTube didn’t come up with the concept we know of straight away. Legend has it that YouTube began life as a video dating site dubbed "Tune In Hook Up," said to be influenced by HotorNot. The three ultimately decided not to go that route.
