Fall Classes are now available for sign up.
We are adding a new way to work with clay, sculpture. Join Jade for this new 8-week class.

SCULPTURE
In this ceramics sculpture course, students will explore hand building techniques including coil, slab, solid construction, and hollowing out to create expressive three-dimensional forms. Students will investigate balance, proportion, composition, carving, texture, and surface ornamentation while drawing inspiration from natural, architectural, figurative, and everyday forms. Projects will explore combining, transforming, and assembling forms into cohesive sculptures, including figurines, abstract and nature-inspired forms, and imaginative constructions. Students will be encouraged to think like sculptors—exploring creativity, developing their own ideas, and creating work that is unique to their individual interests and perspectives.
