Howdy all you beautiful nerds and nerdettes! We have a couple exciting announcements!

#1 - We are now accepting trade-ins for Riftbound singles! While it might take a moment to establish a variety of singles on our TCG website, we have quite a big bulk collection at the store to dig through and finish your decks up! Which brings us to our next update:

#2 - With the increase in trade-ins and increase in Traverse City's TCG popularity, we are increasing our trade-in value to 60% cash and 70% in-store credit! We love having you all come in and show off your awesome cards and we want to help give more back!

Come on in Tuesday-Sunday to trade some cards in to us and perhaps finally pull the trigger on starting your first Riftbound deck as well!

We only received a limited number of boxes, so we’ll be selling them by the pack only, but we’re keeping them at MSRP as always with standard rotation sets!

We've got our next exciting MTG event around the corner! We'll be hosting a Hobbit-themed potluck for our Heart of the Mountain event on Sept 6th!

If you've attended any of our previous commander parties, these are always a blast, and Wizards adds some fun twists to their set-themed events.

With this being a potluck, we ask that if you plan on attending to bring a dish to pass so there is enough food for all the Dwarves to eat.

Today we have some good news and some bad news.

The bad news is that we still don’t have any Hobbit products available (except accessories).

The good news is that we have a restock on the first two Riftbound sets! These will be limited to 6 packs per person and we’ll see you all for Nexus Night tonight.

It's that time of the week for Tuesday Tank Space on 8th Commander!

Folks show up around 5-5:30pm to register, and pods randomize around 6pm. We have timed rounds and packs for each pods winner. Come enjoy their cool AC and even cooler drinks!

We'll be here till they close at 10pm.

We've still got a handful of vendor spots up for grabs for our next Geek Trader Market pop-up event happening on 7-25!

Right now, we're mainly looking for vendors selling collections and hobby-related items. Think board games, video games, trading cards, comics, retro toys, tabletop gaming, collectibles, and original geeky or gaming-inspired crafts. If that sounds like you, we'd love to have you apply!

A few reminders before applying:
❌ No AI-generated artwork or AI-produced products.
❌ No TEMU, Alibaba, or other mass-import resale products.
❌ No mass-produced 3D prints from purchased files. We love seeing 3D printing at the market, but we're looking for original designs or genuinely creative, value-added work, not vendors simply printing someone else's files in bulk.
Our goal is to keep Geek Trader Market full of unique vendors, curated collections, and original creators so there's always something new and exciting to discover.

Vendor sign-ups for the next Geek Trader Market are officially open! Join us July 25th outside TC War Room for an afternoon packed with artists, collectors, retro games, toys, comics, VHS, handmade goods, and all things geek culture. Spots are limited!

As many of you know, our Tuesday Tank Space on 8th Commander nights has really taken off! It’s become a super welcoming, community-focused space and an easy, centralized spot for players to gather each week.

Tuesdays are all about casual Commander — hanging out, meeting new people, grabbing burgers and drinks, trying weird decks, and enjoying the game together rather than focusing on hyper-competitive play. Players of all experience levels are welcome at the table.

That’s why we’re excited to partner with Up North Pride for a special Pride Month Commander Party celebrating community, creativity, and self-expression through one of our favorite games.

For this event, EVERY Legendary Creature has Partner!

Mix and match commanders, build wild color combinations, and create some truly chaotic and expressive decks for the night.

Player registration starts at 5:30 PM, with pods randomized at 6:10 PM. Everyone will receive a special promo card for participating, and prizes will be awarded to the winner of each round’s pod.
