Although I can never do Star any justice with my drawing, I have been wanting to draw this as a reminder that Cheff Therapeutic Riding Center was my first introduction to horses in a positive way.

They completely changed my outlook about horses.

Star stood out to me so much when I first attended a group from the local veterans hospital.

Horses have become a big part of my therapy as I have continued to reach forward and try to improve my outlook on life.

Thank you to the staff at Cheff riding center. You all helped change my outlook on life those for tunes I was lucky enough to visit you.

It's been too long, but here is the newest finished product!

A friend inspired me to do this by sending it to me. But it definitely represents her and how she is as a mother. A fierce protector!

I will try to get a better photo of the painting when it dries and is not so shiny.

I will be going to my first art show this upcoming weekend!!!

I’m so very excited, but so nervous.

I will be showing my work and hopefully selling some pieces at the traverse city horse show, with the veterans inspiring veterans group!!!

Hey Guys and Gals,

It's been far too long. My brain has been interfering with completion of projects, but I finally got this one done for a commission.

I do not own the rights to the original photo I worked off of, you all may or may not have seen it before on Facebook. It means a lot to the Gentleman that ordered the work, it shows how much a parent gives to a child in the long progression of life. And he has given a lot to his three young men.

It means a lot to me being the father of an awesome young man that I know I gave a lot of myself to help him grow.

Thanks for all of the support, I just recently hit 100 followers as well so that's a great start to keeping my work out there and being seen.

I have three more in progress, I can't wait to show them off in a couple weeks!!!

Finished another fun guy this week.

I worked on him for a while just trying to make it feel done. I am very happy with how this one came out!

Had a little fun today and did this guy in color pencil. Clearly this is not my character, Disney owns the right to Stitch, I just drew it for a friends kid. Can't wait to see her face when she sees it!

I love PrismaColor color pencils, they are so nice to work with.

Well, I Pulled another unfinished painting out and did some work. I really like how he turned out.

Not the best painting I've ever done but he was fun the second time around.

Remember all my paintings are for sale. I can make prints as well.

Maybe a Christmas present for someone you love lol.😁

Finished this commission today!!!

So very happy with how he turned out!!!

Can’t wait for the owner to get it!!!

Learned new techniques with this painting. Never used knives before, but the entire background and log are all done with knife only.

Used walnut oil at the end to glaze him and contour the feathers.
