We are hiring a part-time Game Master, who plays an important role in creating unique and exciting entertainment for our customers. We are looking for quick learners with strong attention to detail, but most importantly, applicants should have a knack for hospitality and customer service.
Candidate must be available to work most Saturdays and Sundays.
Typical work hours are from 11:30am to 9:30pm (subject to change based on amount of bookings)
Job duties include, but not limited to:
-Arriving on time and opening the facility (lights, music, game rooms, etc…)
-Cleaning (dusting, floors, trash, etc…)
-Player Experience (Greeting, chatting, photos, tours, etc…)
-Game Operation (Running the Escape Rooms, providing hints, resolving game play issues, etc…)
-Communication (Answering phone, responding to inquiries, taking reservations, etc…)
-Puzzle/Interaction Design (Help conceptualize and design new puzzles and interactions for current/future rooms)
-Game Reset (100% perfection for game resets, overcoming/mending misused puzzles/props)
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Energetic, enthusiastic, articulate- can interact easily with different groups of people
Fluent English speaker
Fast learner - able to think on your feet
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and to handle the unexpected
Ability to remain calm and friendly while under pressure
Tech savvy (basic computing, willing to learn new software)
Physically capable of lifting and moving props, shoving furniture around, rearranging intricate clues, etc.
Must be at least 18 years old to apply
