Hey Halloween Fanatics and our amazing Dead Ends family, once again we need to let you know that this year The Dead Ends will NOT be produced as we unfortunately had some financial responsibilities and family priorities that overwhelmed us this year. Please spread the word as we know many of you take the time to visit us from out of town. We WILL be back next year! Trust me we are super bummed but life happens. See you next year 2026!

Wow!

MT. CLEMENS, MI — The Bronner family, famous for turning Frankenmuth into a Christmas wonderland, is flipping the script with plans to break ground in 2026 on “Bronner’s Gates of Hell,” a 365-day Halloween mega store in Mt. Clemens that insiders say will be so massive it’ll make Spirit Halloween, Lowe’s, and Home Depot look like glorified dollar stores. The 200,000-square-foot complex is the brainchild of Buster Bronner, the black sheep of the family and heir to the estate, who insists the project will “finally bring balance” to a brand known for elves and nativity scenes. Early plans include a 24-hour haunted house, a full food court, and even waterslides that shoot riders into a blood-red pool, plus a “slaughterhouse carryout” offering chicken dinners to go, keeping ties to Frankenmuth’s roots. City officials in Mt. Clemens confirmed permits have been filed and locals are already buzzing. As Clinton Township dad Timmy Krupa put it, “This isn’t just a store, it’s a statement — this is what we needed in Michigan, this is what we needed in America.”

As we take this year off we are already planning for next years “Dead Ends on Spruce,” and we are looking for a corporate sponsorship for 2026 to help us bring the magic of Halloween to life for our community. Our annual display has become a beloved tradition, and with your support, we can make it bigger and better every year. If your company is interested in partnering with us and supporting a spooktacular community event, please reach out!

Dear Friends and Supporters,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce our “Dead Ends on Spruce” Halloween display will not be taking place this year. As the creator and builder of this theatrical, movie-like experience for all ages, it breaks my heart to share this news. We pour our hearts and souls into creating this magical and immersive event but our yearly saved startup costs needed to be prioritized this year for unforeseen family care and vehicle setbacks…but life happens and of course family comes first.

We know how much this display means to so many of you, and it is with great sadness that we have to take this pause. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our amazing team who help manage the display throughout October.

However, we want to assure you that we will 100% be back next year, bigger and better than ever! Our commitment to bringing joy and a sense of community remains stronger than ever, and we can’t wait to share it with you all.

If you feel compelled to support us in any way, located below we have set up a secured Square link and Venmo link in the comments to help us cover next year’s materials and startup costs. Any contribution, big or small, will be deeply appreciated.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to creating more magical memories with you in the future.

Warm regards,
Nate and the Dead Ends team…
