One last stop before heading home. 🐝

Got to spend some time with Niki & Levi from Harmony Hives checking out their top bar hives and talking bees.

The hive has a funny way of bringing good people together.

More soon. ✨

World Bee Day feels like the perfect reminder that bees are about so much more than honey. 🐝🌎

They teach patience, awareness, resilience, and respect for the world around us. They also have a way of bringing people together from all walks of life.

One thing I wish more people understood? Most beekeepers genuinely want to help others learn and appreciate pollinators.

Would love to hear your answer on the original post 👇

🐝 Bee Honest…

In honor of World Bee Day and helping spread a little pollinator education…

What’s something you wish more people understood about bees or beekeepers?

Maybe it’s how important pollinators are.
Maybe it’s that bees are usually far less aggressive than people think.
Maybe it’s the time, care, and heart that goes into beekeeping.
Or maybe it’s the community and connection that comes with it.

We’d love to hear your thoughts below and help spread a little awareness while we’re at it. ❤️🐝

It’s getting a little swarmy out there 👀🐝

See a beard of bees hanging from a tree branch? A mailbox suddenly humming? A suspiciously spicy-looking bush? Give us a call 😆

If the swarm is outside and easy to access, swarm captures are usually free.

Now… if they’ve decided your wall, roof, chimney, or siding would make a great forever home, that turns into a cutout/removal. Those are quoted based on time, access, and how invasive the removal needs to be.

The bees are house hunting. We’re just the relocation team. 🐝

We caught this colony in the act… and for once, when we heard “the bees just got here, we swear”… it was actually true 😅

Got to work making sure this wouldn’t become their home.
Closed it up, redirected the traffic, cleared out some old wasp nests, and made it so they couldn’t find their way back in.

We even had to come back out because these persistent bees were already trying to find another way in.

And if you know, you know… where brick meets siding is basically a swarm’s favorite welcome sign. 🐝

Less mess in the long run… but honestly just as much work, if not more.

They don’t give up easy… and neither do we.
