Old Glory Productions

Old Glory Productions OLD GLORY PRODUCTIONS is an organization whose mission is to honor the Spirit of America through performing arts.

We strive to educate, entertain and inspire our audiences by providing patriotic, military and classic American themed productions as a tribute to those who work to secure our freedom through their service to our country. In 2003, Tracy Civic Theater sponsored "A Holiday Tribute to the USO", written and directed by one of its members with a portion of the proceeds going to the USO. Due to the show

's success that year, two more shows were written and performed in 2006 and 2010 sponsored by our local James McDermott Post 172 American Legion, with all proceeds benefiting the USO and the Military Moms of Tracy. Supporting our troops through the performing arts seemed like a good idea, so an organized theater company was formed around that concept, where we would have the opportunity to achieve even larger goals. Thus, OLD GLORY PRODUCTIONS was created to accomplish that mission. OUR GOAL

Our goal is to give the public an enjoyable theater experience in which the primary use for the proceeds would be in support of our troops through donations to the USO and to our local military related organizations.

It is with great sorrow that we say goodbye to Tom Ackerman, a talented actor and musician who quietly passed away last night from complications of heart surgery. Tom was a proud Vietnam veteran who loved people and never hesitated to help out anyone who asked. He will be fondly remembered by anyone who had the pleasure to know him. Rest in Peace Friend.🎸
