She's aliiiiiive!!! π§ββοΈβ‘οΈπ₯
In 2020, I made a sunflower cardigan, but I never wore it out because I was too scared to snag it or spill something on it. Makes sense because it took me over 76 hours to complete, but I never got a chance to appreciate it before I grew out of it. If there is one thing about me, I hate having things lying around with no purpose just taking up space in my room. The sunflower cardigan was next on the chopping block...or the frogging block you might say. It's always funny to me that it pains my family to see me take apart a project, but I am unhappy with it until it is exactly the way I want. Fret not though! I was able to save my squares. Just needed to take them down to Jamie's workshop (a fun way of saying I occupied multiple tables and couches in my house) for some reconstruction. I thought about just adding a little bit of white to the edge of each square but I worked smarter, not harder, and just rearranged them. Made the back 2 rows in the middle instead of just 1. This lead to the garment being a little slouchy on the shoulders, so I did some tight single crochet around the collar. To wrap up the project, we had to get some new pictures unintentionally at the same park as the originals. (Originals are the second to last two pics or look at my prior posts)
All in all, I'm really glad to be able to wear this again and finally appreciate it in all of its glory.
PS- I forgot my box of stitch markers at college and entirely winged this
