Thursday 5:30 - 6:30pm
Ballet Level 1 (ages 7-11)
Recommended experience: 1-2 years
Dress code: solid color leotard, pink tights & ballet slippers, skirt optional, hair in a bun (if possible)
Ballet 1 introduces a formal structure ballet class. Students start at the barre, progress to the center, do traveling exercises across the floor and culminate with a dance combination. Terminology, refining motor skills, exploring creative expression, and
building strength and coordination are emphasized at this level.
Friday 3:00 - 3:45pm
Pre-Acro (ages 5-7)
Recommended experience: 0-1 year
Dress code: any color leotard, spandex shorts/leggings, bare feet, hair pulled back
Acro Dance is a seamless blend of acrobatics and dance. Pre-Acro is a fundamentals class that teaches the basics of classical dance technique combined with acrobatic elements. Students work on flexibility and body strengthening while improving agility, confidence and motor skills.
Cost
Classes paid to Lenna Parr have the following prices:
45 min. class— $40/month
Second class or student per month — $32
Third class or student per month — $30
60 min. class—$50/month
Second class or student per month — $42
Third class or student per month — $40
There is no registration or costume fee.
