It was out 112th Vermilion Range Old Settlers Day today, July 18, 2026.
Thank you all for coming out today. Thank you to everyone that made this day possible. Here’s a small glimpse.

The cooking crew did an excellent job again this year! Thank you to everyone that worked so hard to put this all together. Thank you to the registration and raffle crew. Thank you to the Breitung Township work crew for set up and take down, and the McKinley Park Campground hosts for the prep you did to the grounds.
Thank you to everyone that came out to eat today too, without you this tradition of 112 years would not be possible.

See you next year on the third Saturday in July, 2027!

We are still having our 112th picnic this Saturday, July 18, 2026 at McKinley Park. You can also stand in line to receive your Booyah as take out (in your own food and heat safe container) if you wish.

Veggie cutting will be at the Breitung Town Hall in Soudan Today at 3:30.

You can bring your own knives. Also, a reminder to tie hair up, wear a hairnet, or cap.

Save the Date: Reminder, Old Settlers Day is always the 3rd Saturday in July, so this year it’s Saturday, July 18th, 2026. We will have our flyers out soon.

You can purchase tickets now, or the day of the picnic.

Bring your own pot and dinnerware and picnic fixings. Booyah, bread and butter, and coffee served. Cold drinks can be purchased at the campground store. Tickets are also available the day of the picnic, but pre-payment is preferred. Tickets for Old Settlers Day (Booyah) are $10 per person. Take-outs are also available if you are unable to stay for the picnic( but you must bring your own container and be there when we serve), we will have music, and raffles, and 50/50 split the pot.
