🌟 Dancer of the Week: Liliana “Lily” Shores! 🌟

Lily has been dancing for 12 years and trains in just about everything: ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, modern, musical theater, pointe, and competition team.
Her word to describe herself? Joyful! And honestly, we agree.

Right now, she’s loving contemporary, her favorite move is a calypso, and she says she fell in love with dance through lyrical because she loves “making a story come to life.”

Miss Emily is bringing the island energy to the studio with a “Survivor”-themed Teen Tap Workshop packed with tap, teamwork, dance challenges, and summer fun.

We’re excited to introduce something new at Endless Mountains Dance Center this summer… PEAK by EMDC!

PEAK is our new ONLINE wellness and training series designed to help dancers and movers feel stronger, more mobile, and more balanced in their bodies. Our virtual classes will include strength training, mobility work, recovery-focused sessions, and yoga—all designed to support better movement, prevent injury, and build overall confidence in how you move.

Whether you’re a dancer looking to stay performance-ready or simply want to feel better in your everyday life, PEAK offers a space to train, reset, and grow at your own pace.

From tiny dance shoes and backstage hugs to senior year and big dreams… this one feels extra special. 💜

Today we celebrate Kira Hottenstein… a dancer who has grown up inside the walls of EMDC and into an incredible young woman we couldn’t be more proud of.

Kira has been involved in:
✨ Varsity Soccer
✨ Hip Hop Dance
✨ Student Government
✨ National Honor Society
✨ Envirothon
✨ Ski Club
✨ History Club
✨ Athletic Training Club
✨ Outdoors Club
✨ World Language Club
✨ Pickleball Club
…and has faithfully served in leadership roles as Treasurer or Secretary in so many of the organizations she’s touched.

She’s also deeply involved in her church and youth group at Living Hope in Estella, PA- a reflection of the kindness, heart, and quiet strength she carries everywhere she goes.

This fall, Kira will attend Lycoming College to study Early Childhood Education and Psychology, where we know she’ll continue making an impact on the lives around her.

For our studio director, Melissa Fitzgerald, this recital carries an extra layer of emotion as she watches her daughter take the stage during her final recital season. Some moments are bigger than dance… and this is one of them.

Help us celebrate Kira and the entire Class of 2026 tomorrow at our “Precious Moments” Recital at Towanda High School Auditorium. 💫
