To continue the journey from a used brake rotor to a beautiful bad ass knife for the two time pit crew champions of the number 9 Chip Ganassi Racing. My amazing wife and I traveled to Milwaukee to be their guest and present the Nekotis. We were treated like family from the moment we got there. From the pit passes, the media team taking photos and the amazing gifts we exchanged it was a once in a lifetime experience. It was so awesome to see the in and outs of a race day from close up. Only thing that would have been better is if it wouldn’t have rained like cats and dogs but even then we hung out and shot the bull. Plus my wife even made a new friend.

Thank you again Wolfpack for the amazing experience! Congrats on winning the Pit Crew Championship again.

So awhile ago my friend Cole sent me a brake rotor off of the number 9 Chip Ganassi Indy Car he is a crew member of. We talked about making knives for the pit crew and I set out to make one of the most unique bad ass knives I have ever made. The first pics are of the handle process from cutting it out of the rotor to thinning it down. Gluing up the blue liner material to right after buffing which turns out you don’t want to buff it because it just killed the look so more sanding to get the handles to look just right. The knives turned out absolutely amazing. From the orange Nekoti to the carbon ceramic rotor off the car with the blue liner it just matches the car so well.
