One fine art supporting another 🎨 — 28th Avenue Dance Studio was proud to help sponsor the new downtown mural. So excited to see art coming alive in Torrington!

We're excited to officially begin revealing Torrington Main Street's new community mural!

As sponsorships and donations are received, additional sections of the mural rendering will be uncovered, allowing our community to watch this exciting project come to life before the first brushstroke ever touches the wall.

Basics — where every dancer’s journey begins! Dancers explore movement using props like ribbons, hula hoops, bean bags, and scarves. Along the way, they build rhythm, musicality, and creativity, while learning to follow directions, follow the leader, and help pick up.

Whether it’s their first time in a classroom, their first time away from mom and dad, or they just need friends and socialization — Basics provides the structure to help them thrive. It’s the perfect enrichment addition alongside preschool, daycare, or any other activities!
