As an artist, I am so grateful to say I am Months & Months out! My board is full with orders, and I am still taking orders in my order book! As a ceramist, I run my business based on a waitlist. It is first-come first-serve, and now I cannot and will not guarantee dates. When you put your order in, you are acknowledging I am adding your order to the bottom of the waitlist. To recieve your custom made order, patience is required. If you are curious on where you are on my waitlist, I will happily let you know how many orders are in front of yours!
The vast majority of my orders are commissions for the customer themselves or gifts. I understand this may be an inconvenience for those who wish to purchase a customize brand set for a gift based on a date. If you want to be guaranteed to have an item for a specific date then I recommend purchasing a gift card. Those who purchase a gift card will automatically be added to the waitlist.
I am a small batch ceramicist who does everything by myself! There are many steps in creating an item which includes: making it, trimming/cleaning it up, drying time, bisque firing, applying brands/designs, glazing it, and finally glaze firing the item! Sometimes things out of my control happen. An item breaks - having to restart the creation process, along with kiln/wheel maintenance. Pottery takes time!
I am excited to share I am in the process of purchasing a 3rd Kiln, and this will aid in my production time! My heart is full and so grateful to bring yours brand to life through pottery!
