What if you could go out to dinner…but instead of ordering food, you ordered an arts & crafts experience?
Well, Canton, something pretty unique is headed your way!
Introducing The Painted Parlor, an adult-focused arts and crafts studio coming to 220 Albany Turnpike in Canton, the former home of The Bagel Deli!
And this isn't your typical craft class! Think of it like a restaurant, but instead of ordering appetizers and entrées, you'll choose from a rotating menu of creative experiences. Grab a seat, pick your project, and let your creativity take over!
Behind the concept is Christine Worley, a lifelong crafter who spent years as a hairdresser and salon owner in Burlington. Now she's turning the page to an exciting new chapter, sharing her passion for creativity and bringing people together through hands-on experiences.
And she has BIG plans! Think girls' nights, date nights, book clubs, junk journaling, craft bingo, bachelorette parties, baby showers, classes, workshops, and so much more! While the focus will be on adults, special kids' days and even "Granny Camps" are in the works! She's also hoping to offer b**r and w**e (pending approval), along with coffee, tea, and light snacks.
The space needs a little TLC before the creativity can begin, but the hope is to open by mid-January 2027!
We LOVE this concept! More opportunities to get out, connect with others, try something new, and just have FUN right here in the Farmington Valley!
