We are so excited to take off with you all this Fall 🥰🤸 For back to school, we are having a bring-a-friend week to encourage our students to share their creative home with the people they love 💃🕺 Some of the greatest art takes a community to put together, so we encourage you to invite your friends to class next week. Meet Yoko Hasebe. ✦

Yoko trained professionally in New York and Los Angeles, and she teaches dancers of every age — from a first plié to full company work. Her class is built on encouragement as much as technique.

Welcome, Khilea Douglass. 👑

Khilea brings 30+ years of professional experience to the studio. She trained at the Baltimore School for the Arts, Dance Theatre of Harlem and The Ailey School, toured internationally for six years with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, danced as a soloist with Lula Washington Dance Theatre, and joined the Broadway cast of The Lion King. She's ABT National Training Curriculum certified and founded Holistic Dance Arts LLC in 2023.

She's teaching Ballet, Contemporary and Pilates with us this fall.

Welcome, Precious Gilbert. 🩰

Precious trained at Cincinnati Ballet — where she also performed with the company — before summer programs at Boston Ballet, The Rock School and The Ballet Center, and a trainee season with Ballet Austin. Since moving to LA in 2014 she's performed with Luminario Ballet as both a ballerina and an aerialist.

She's teaching Ballet, Contemporary and Aerial Arts with us this fall. We're so glad she's here.

are thrilled to welcome award-winning choreographer, educator, and creative director KASEY COSENTINO to the Fly One Studios faculty!

With 21+ years in the dance industry, Kasey is a two-time KAR Choreographer of the Year, a featured Dance Teacher Magazine educator, and the Founder/Director of The Werkshop LA — and now she's bringing all of that to Torrance.

This fall, Kasey is teaching LEAPS, KICKS & TURNS — a strength and technique class built to give dancers the power, control, and confidence behind dance's most dynamic moves. Three levels, so every dancer has a home:

📍 Tuesdays, starting September 1

4:30–5:50 PM — Leaps, Kicks & Turns II/III
6:00–7:20 PM — Leaps, Kicks & Turns I
7:30–8:50 PM — Leaps, Kicks & Turns IV/V

✨ And there's more coming — Kasey's Stretch & Conditioning class lands on Thursdays. Details soon!
