CALL for SUBMISSIONS

We invite proposals for sound art projects and listening-based interventions that present sound as a means of engaging with public space and collective experience. Mobile and roaming works, traversing multiple locations, are especially welcome, including works that are portable or vehicular, cosplay or costume

soundpedro2026 marks a decade of experiments, sonic reflections, and sensory replays. From the ringing edge of tinnitus to tolling tintinnabulations, this year’s theme —TIN— echoes the passage of time, the persistence of sound, and the decaying thresholds between signal and noise.

soundpedro is a whole season… June 6 at AGCC is a one-night on-site event that includes: sculptures, environments, installations, timed and ongoing performances, interactions, and presentations.

*Note: Be prepared for rough terrain, sun and wind exposure, and temperature changes (e.g. jackets, umbrellas, blankets, practical footwear, etc.)

The Bison Burger food truck will be on campus for the event with meat and vegetarian options available.

Wear comfortable shoes, bring a water bottle and a sweater or light jacket (thicker if you run cold), and ear plugs for the sets that are loud.

I’ll be giving a brief presentation on Jorge at 8p-ish.

Immense gratitude to Marco Schindelmann for making room at SOUNDPEDRO for this event honoring Jorge Martin . And I’m also muy grateful to the sound/noise artists, Jorge’s friends, who are going to perform.
