Blues-Birds, a 2022 SOUNDPEDRO exhibition at Angels Gate Art Gallery curated by FLOOD, features work by Steven Speciale and Loyola High School Music Appreciation Students. Inspired by Kerry James Marshall’s Black Birds series, Blues-Birds primarily celebrates music’s Black innovators. The exhibition was made possible with support from LACDAC.

There's a strong chance of rain on Saturday. If necessary, outdoor works will be rehoused to sheltered or semi-sheltered locations.

Moving forward, LBsoundbrowse will not only re-sound, but resound in response to the environment and to the moment. Nature has presented a new condition for us to rise up through process, in collaboration with her. We've been granted an opportunity to reveal something about our niche's way of doing things: our resilience, experimentation, improvisation, and the spirit that drives the Muses within.

Grateful to embrace unpredictability, we look forward to hearing what sound and chance will offer. More importantly, what will we bring to the moment and to each other?
