As an up-and-coming DJ, one of the most rewarding parts of every event is seeing guests leave smiling, hearing that they had an amazing time, and knowing I played a part in making someone’s celebration memorable.

For me, DJing isn’t just about playing music—it’s about reading the room, creating the right energy, and helping turn a special occasion into a night people will remember.

Every event makes me better. Every crowd teaches me something. And every opportunity to be part of someone’s special day means a lot.

Back in 2009, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso were already tearing up dance floors across Europe. This clip from Budapest captures a moment in time when they were simply two insanely talented DJs pushing progressive house to the next level.

No giant SHM cross. No sold-out arena tours. Just pure energy, underground vibes, and the soundtrack of an era that helped shape modern EDM.

There was Foxfire. 🔥

Part restaurant.
Part dance club.
Part Orange County social experiment.

Whether you knew it as Foxfire, the Cougar Den, or simply the place where everyone seemed to have a story, one thing is certain:

If you lived in OC during its golden years, chances are you’ve either been there, met someone there, or heard legendary stories about it.

First dates.
Birthday parties.
Girls’ nights.
Live bands.
One last drink that somehow turned into closing the place down.

The doors may have closed in 2016, but the memories are still alive.

Had an amazing time DJing the Grand Opening of Karak in Yorba Linda! 🎧☕️✨

The vibe was incredible as I mixed Middle Eastern melodies with Afro House grooves, creating the perfect soundtrack for a beautiful evening filled with great people, great energy, and even better chai.

If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and stop by. Their signature Karak Chai Latte is absolutely phenomenal, and every latte I tried was top-notch. But what really took me back was the dessert menu—authentic flavors that instantly brought back memories of home. ❤️

What impressed me most was seeing the community come together around great food, drinks, and culture. This is more than just a café—it’s an experience.

Excited to see Karak continue to grow with more locations on the way! Personally, I can’t wait for the Torrance location to open. Trust me, you’ll be seeing me there often. 😄

🎧 After 20+ years of festivals, raves, club nights, and questionable porta-potty decisions… I’ve learned a few things. 😆

The funny thing is, most festival mistakes are completely avoidable.

Lost phone?
Been there.

Dead battery?
Done that.

Forgot a meeting spot?
Spent an hour looking for friends who were “by the stage.” (Which stage? 🤦‍♂️)

Wore the wrong shoes?
My feet still remember.

This guide is everything I wish someone told me before my first festival.

Whether you’re heading to EDC, Beyond Wonderland, Escape, Dreamstate, Hard Summer, Coachella, or your very first festival…

Travel light.
Stay hydrated.
Protect your hearing.
Watch your phone.
Look out for your friends.

Most importantly…

Put the phone down once in a while and enjoy the moment.

The music ends.

The memories don’t.

There was Sutra. 💜

For many Orange County ravers, this wasn’t just another club.

From breweries and birthday parties to weddings, rooftops, and everything in between, being a mobile DJ means every gig comes with a different view. 🎧✨

One weekend I’m playing for a packed dance floor, the next I’m helping create memories at a family celebration. The best part? I get a front-row seat to all of it.

From behind the DJ decks, I watch strangers become friends, shy people find their groove, and entire rooms come alive through music. Seeing people dance, laugh, sing along, and forget about their worries for a few hours is what makes this so rewarding.

Every event has its own vibe, every crowd has its own story, and I love being the soundtrack to those moments. ❤️
