RavenHawk got her start in the early 80's, when, at the age of 21, worked at OffShore Sportswear International, she managed the styling of pro~athletes{surfers, speedway racers, beach volleyball players}, Olympic swimmer, Mark Spitz, actor, Tom Selleck, and King of Surf Guitar, Dick Dale and the Del-Tones. It was the styling, and friendship, of Dick that piqued her interest in the business nehind
the music scene. In the mid-80's RavenHawk worked at Boston's premier rock club, The Channel. At the Channel Raven managed the merch concession and handled hospitality for local, as well as, international bands. Upon leaving the Channel, Raven managed, promoted, and produced, The Fables and Feat of Clay. Thaddeus Bernard, lead vocals, bass, front man for "Feat", through Raven's connections, went on to perform, in studio, with Ric Ocasek, on several albums. Thad also scored writing a German rock opera, for a prominent German artiste. By 1987, Audrey Kramer Clark was on board and the two formed Crystal Image Productions. Through Crystal Image, Raven took upcoming young talent and showed them the ropes~how to navigate the music scene. At this time, RavenHawk enjoyed appearing on a local show as the talent, interviewing a different genre band, each week. Her cable show was called "SounCheck"
Between the two of them, Audrey and Raven had Aud's band Drama Club, up and running, playing weekend gigs, in every major Boston club~The Rat, Bunratty's, The Channel, and T.T.'s the Bears, along with major airplay, and the interest of several record labels. Raven spent five months in London and interviewed, only one of out of two, for job of manager of London Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. While the 90's and 2000's saw Raven getting married and having a family, she has always maintained a hand in the musical arena. Reuniting with Audrey in 2010, Raven has booked Audrey's~The 360's and recently began, what will seemingly be a long relationship with Daniel Margasa of 5 Star Loser fame and proprietor of Sixx Gun Music, a music store, in Saugus, Ma. Together they have an upcoming event, 28, February, at Sully C's and Raven is also negotiating terms for Daniel's 5 Star Loser to tour 30 days, in September with The Adicts.
2015 proves to have kicked off with a bang as Raven calls upon her contacts to book, and promote, shows, bands, and schedule radio show appearances on Crash Course For The Ravers, WMFO, 91.5 FM, with host Brian Young. So, in closing, if you need a show promoted or you're an artist, looking for representation, hit up RavenHawk's inbox with a demo and message.
