Hey there, you have a few days left before mother's Day and if you can't get to Blue Gracias to take care of her then get somewhere and get her something good because MOMMAS DESERVE IT! They work hard!!! Blue gracias will be open Friday and Saturday 9:00 to 12:00 and 1:00 to 4. Tomorrow, Thursday wIll be off and on hours. Oh wow It Has Been a Doozy of a year so far, starting to get back to normal but had a family member go on hospice this week. So ALWAYS family first 🩵 . With that I won't be open many hrs for a little longer. Goal is to try and open up shop next Saturday and Sunday for 2 days 🤞....we will see how it goes. These are just a few pictures of what's new I'm working on. Clothing, Primitive Jellyfish series and Topsail Tower series. I hope to be back to normal and open more soon. Please always feel free to message through the Insta if you want to make an appointment If I'm not open. If it's convenient for me at that time I would gladly welcome you in to shop. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! This is an Encaustic I completed in 2019, she's long gone .... but more in the works. I'm closed and creating elsewhere this weekend, but my neighbors are open so please remember small businesses and Shop Small Saturday! We love you and we need you. So go get a warm cup of goodness from the White Crab and Have a beautiful weekend filled with GRATITUDE 🩵! See you in December 😀

Thought I'd share what's up in the studio... overjoyed to be back in the wax! I've missed painting Encaustic art. I mix beeswax with demar resin with oil pigments and paint off a griddle. Carving out, adding on and fusing with heat each layer. People often ask is it glazed? Nope, that's the demar resin and the beeswax....and a little bit of buffing. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND
