🏒 What a night for our Junior Scarecrows!

At the end of draft night, we were eating pizza with some of the parents and said, “You know, two years ago, if someone had told us we’d have a youth hockey program up and running in Topeka, I would’ve said, ‘No way.’”

But here we are.

Watching these kids get announced, receive their jerseys, and become part of a team made every hour of work worth it.

This didn’t happen by accident. It happened because people stepped up. Parents, coaches, volunteers, donors, sponsors, our booster club, and the Topeka Scarecrows professional team all helped turn an idea into something real. Our community believed in these kids and supported us in getting them on the ice.

To everyone who donated, helped, encouraged us, or trusted us with your child—THANK YOU. You helped build this, and I hope you’re as proud as we are.

The ride has started. We will be the best youth hockey program in Kansas, and we’ll get there together. Come on out this evening! 🐦‍⬛🧡🖤🏒

🏒 Two minutes for holding… Donald Lewis, we meant the donations! 😂

The Booster Club wrapped up Stuff the Bus with homewares to help our Topeka Professional Hockey players get settled in Topeka—and apparently a little extra team/fan bonding!

Pictured left to right: Maria Anderson, Karen Cline, Scarecrows owner Don Lewis, and Jessica Dragoo. Plenty of helping hands, big smiles, and absolutely no chance we were fitting one more thing in that vehicle! 🤣

THIS is what it’s all about. Coming together, taking care of our players, and making Topeka feel like home. Thank you to our members for your generosity and support. You help us feather the nest—literally! 🧡🖤

If your season ticket holder it makes that experience even better. Join the booster club and get in on all the action parties and fun. We will have a table at tonight's handout. Stop by and sign up!

Bids close opening night Oct 16th start of 2nd period!

Here’s your chance to own the prototype (THE OG)! This is the first one, and it denotes it on the bottom; it's the one that started it all—the original Topeka B**r Mug! This unique souvenir celebrates our team, our fans, and the return of ice sports to Topeka.

🔥 The Carolina Hurricanes sold out of similar mugs in just TWO PERIODS at $45 each!

Our production mugs will be:

🍺 $35 for the public
🍺 JUST $25 for booster club members!

That’s $20 less for members than the Hurricanes’ mugs—and another great reason to join the booster club!

🍻 24 OUNCES—THAT’S TWO BEERS OR TWO POPS! Enjoy b**r and pop refills at an exclusive discounted price at any concession stand during the game you purchased the mug for.

This is a souvenir mug. Discounted refills are valid only during the game of purchase; you cannot bring the mug back into SVEC for future games.

This auction is your opportunity to own the original prototype almost a month before the production mugs arrive! We expect the mugs to arrive in Topeka by November. Display it proudly, raise a toast, and help build the future of hockey right here at home.

🧡 Proceeds support Bison Ice Sports Association and the booster club, strengthening youth programs, community events, and the growth of ice facilities in Shawnee County.

Place your bid. Own a one-of-a-kind piece of Topeka hockey history. Help us grow the game! 🏒🍺
