We are so excited to watch these talented seniors take the stage one more time and celebrate all of their hard work, dedication, and memories made throughout the years. ❤️
✨ Celebrating Our Radiant Seniors ✨
Today we are recognizing two incredible senior dancers who have made such a lasting impact at Radiant. Their dedication, leadership, kindness, and love for dance have inspired so many around them, and we are beyond proud of all they have accomplished both on and off the stage. ❤️
🌟 Halle Degand 🌟(pictured right) Halle Degand
Halle has been dancing for 15 years and spent the last 7 years at Radiant. She attends Seaman High School where she has been involved in National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Youth Su***de Prevention Club leadership, and the SHS Auxiliary Dance Team, serving as both Social Captain and Head Captain. She also completed two years at Washburn Tech earning certificates in Early Childhood Education and received both the United States Marine Corps Scholastic Excellence Award and a Community Service Award for completing over 50 volunteer hours.
This fall, Halle will attend Washburn University to study Elementary Education and was proudly accepted into the Washburn Honors Program as a first-generation college student. One of her favorite Radiant memories was getting to give senior flowers to her friend Gaviena at recital two years ago. 🌸
✨ Lauryn Kelley ✨(pictured left) Lauryn Kelley
Lauryn has been dancing for 12 years and spent the last 5 years at Radiant. She graduated from Topeka West High School where she was a member of the Westsiders Dance Team all four years. During high school, she attended TCALC, earned her CNA certification, and worked at Stormont Vail Health as a Patient Care Tech on the psych and stroke floor. She was also honored as a Winter Royalty Queen nominee her senior year. 👑
This fall, Lauryn will attend Washburn University to pursue her RN degree. One of her favorite memories at Radiant was getting to walk Fabiola’s senior flowers out at recital. She also loved being introduced to new dance styles like contemporary and hip hop, helping her grow even more passionate about dance. 🤍
Halle and Lauryn, thank you both for being such an important part of the Radiant family. Your hard work, positivity, leadership, and beautiful hearts have left a mark on our studio that will never be forgotten. We are so proud of the young women you have become and cannot wait to see all the amazing things ahead for you both. We wish you nothing but success and happiness in this next chapter. We will miss you so much and will always be cheering you on! ✨❤️
