😳 Grandma Duty: ACTIVATED!

This weekend I took on a challenge I’ve never done before… babysitting BOTH of my grandbuddys overnight ALL BY MYSELF! ❤️👶👦

One busy toddler.
One adorable baby.
One slightly terrified grandma. 😂

Let’s just say there were snacks, giggles, bedtime adventures, diaper changes, and a few moments where I questioned my life choices. 🤣

But honestly? These are the memories I will cherish forever.

If you’ve ever been a grandparent, parent, aunt, uncle, or babysitter, you know exactly how exhausting and rewarding these moments can be.

What a journey the last decade has been.

For more than 10 years, I’ve been documenting my family’s story online—one memory, one adventure, and one chapter at a time. From the excitement of the dance competition world and magical trips to Disney, to navigating the heartbreak of losing a child, and embracing the wonderfully chaotic life of a GenX grandma in a small Midwest town, every moment has helped shape who I am today.

Looking back, I have so much to be grateful for.

What started as a simple hobby has grown into something I never imagined. These social media platforms have become a place where I can share my experiences, connect with amazing people, inspire others, and now potentially create additional opportunities for my family. That is a blessing I will never take for granted.

Today I’m celebrating a few milestones:

✨ 3,000+ subscribers on YouTube and growing every day
✨ 1,500+ followers here on Instagram

Each number represents a real person who chose to spend a little bit of their day with me, and for that I am incredibly thankful.

My hope has always been simple: to share my life honestly, spread a little positivity, and remind people that even when darkness tries to creep in, there is still joy, hope, laughter, and magic to be found.

Today’s vlog features my reaction to watching our very own .charleigh win her first HS State Championship title as a freshman.

Also just How grateful I am for the kind of exclusive & boutique style competition dance studio my daughter has built .house.dance.company where stand out athletes don’t have to pick and choose between a successful competition dance life & sports.

A studio where they not only can have both but thrive in them.

Pretty amazing this kiddo not only won state as a freshman in HS - she also won several dance competition regional titles, is a member of the GO PRO program for this summer - won Miss Teen Standing Ovation, PAC ATTACK Call Back & TOP Entertainer Title winner all this season!

She still has Nationals to go this summer & heading to a clinic for
All while still pulling a 3.6GPA

Don’t ever say “It can’t be done - she’s proof it can be!”

YOU CAN HAVE BOTH - Charles did & so can you!!! We still have another audition coming up at the end of this month so before you hang up those dancing shoes bc you thought you couldn’t do competition dance & school sports / check out MHDC can do for you!!!
