Lady Shakes Theatre Company invites you into the world of Measure for Measure: A Nightclub Experience — Shakespeare's most provocative play, reimagined in a 1926 Jazz Age speakeasy in the heart of Manhattan. A gender-bending cast puts women in the men’s roles. In Shakespeare's day, men played all the roles. Now it's our turn.

The staging is intimate and in the round — there's no fourth wall, no safe distance. You're not watching the speakeasy. You're in it.

And yes. There's a password. Every ticket comes with a way to find it. You’ll need it to get in.
