That’s REFRAME: our theme for this year’s festival, and an invitation to every filmmaker, artist, and audience member walking through our doors September 4–6 at the Topanga Community Center.

Cinema as sacred fire. Stories as a call to action. A chance to see the world, and maybe this moment, a little differently.

Want to be part of the story?

The 20th Anniversary Topanga Film Festival is coming September 4–6, and we’re looking for volunteers to help us bring the weekend to life.

A film festival is so much more than what happens on the screen. It’s the people behind the scenes welcoming filmmakers, helping guests, supporting screenings, keeping things moving, and creating the kind of experience people remember.

Whether you’re interested in film, media, the arts, event production, or you simply love being part of something creative and community-driven, we’d love to have you on the team.

Volunteers may help with guest check-in, box office, filmmaker support, hospitality, venue operations, and other Festival activities. And, as scheduling allows, you’ll have opportunities to catch select screenings and experience the Festival along the way.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Topanga Film Festival 2026 Fundraiser Gala and helped make it such a special evening.

We’re incredibly grateful to Ny Oh and Wild Childz for sharing their extraordinary talents, and to every donor, sponsor, volunteer, silent auction contributor, and guest whose generosity helps keep independent film thriving.

Your support makes it possible for us to continue building a festival where artists, filmmakers, and our community come together to share stories that matter.

We’re excited to welcome Ny Oh as one of our featured performers, bringing her unique artistry to a night dedicated to celebrating film, creativity, and community.
