Friday: 7AM-6:30PM
Saturday: 9AM-3PM
Sunday: 1-5PM
They gym is available during facility hours for drop in basketball unless the facility is reserved for TRC activities or events. Gym is reserved for pickleball on Tuesdays from 6-8PM, Wednesdays from 8-Noon and Saturdays from 11AM-1PM. The Tonganoxie Recreation Commission (TRC) was founded
in 1967 by a group of dedicated citizens. Thanks to them, Tonganoxie now has services that are progressive for a town of this size. Present staff includes: Director Brad Eccles, Sports Director, Zach Nachbar; Maintenance Supervisor, Doug Tate, & Phil Jeannin and Russ Kimberlin in maintenance. A five member administrative board volunteers their time to guide our progress and monitor growth. Current board members are Lisa Large, Ursula Kissinger, John Bretthauer, Ryan Brune and Josey Eastes. The Commission exists to increase your leisure opportunities. We understand that the benefits reaped through recreation are endless. Participating in community recreation is not only fun, but also healthy and educational. We encourage all ages and abilities to participate in some kind of recreational activity. It is our goal to facilitate programs, classes and events for every demographic within U.S.D. 464. We aim to get you moving, interacting, learning and playing. Take some leisure time and get involved with your Tonganoxie Recreation Commission.
