At Monday’s Whiting Station concert, we awarded the second annual Mildred Zitt Memorial Award to Southern Regional High School Graduate Mary Sauchelli. Mary has been a member of our group since the summer after seventh grade, and her musical journey has been nothing short of inspiring. Her bio and story are posted below!

The Mildred Zitt Award is named after our founder, Mildred Zitt, who was a dedicated teacher and musician in Toms River who started this group 25 years ago. Because of her vision and hard work, we are what we are today. This group was her lifelong passion, and we will remember her in this way every year for her commitment and love.

Congratulations to Mary and all of our graduates on a job well done! Best of luck, and we hope you come back after you graduate college!!!! 💕

Whiting Station! What a night we had! Thank you for hosting a great concert!
Last night, we recognized our graduating senior members. These hard working students will be leaving for college in a few months, and through the generosity of our concertgoers this year, we were able to provide all six of them with 500.00 scholarships! We are so proud of these kids, and know that they will move on to do great things!!!

Last year’s Memorial Day view from the top of Old Barney… June 22, we hope to relive that moment in time… as the largest orchestra to ever perform on LBI returns! 6:00 PM weather permitting.

Members of our brass section collaborated with the Toms River Rotary Club and other community organizations to pay tribute to a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient with a poignant tombstone placement ceremony, providing music that enhanced this meaningful tribute.

Mother Nature had other ideas for our concert today! Let’s try for June 22!!!

We are sorry to announce that the performance by the Toms River Multigenerational Orchestra (TRMO) tonight has been called off due to the still threatening weather. The orchestra cannot play outside in rain.

Please note that the NIGHT CLIMB will go on as scheduled from 6:30 to 9 pm, just without the live music.

The orchestra has generously agreed to extend its season by a week in order to play at the lighthouse four weeks from tonight--Monday, June 22nd. We hope you can join us tonight for the night climb and next month for the orchestra's postponed performance!
