To say yesterday was a great success would be an understatement. Congratulations to all of our students who participated in our recitals and to the alumni who also did an amazing job. Our dancers were amazing from age 3 to age 71. Thank you so much. We love you all❤️

Hi my name is Jack Barone and I just graduated Donovan Catholic High School in early June! Dancing has been a part of my life and is in my blood (literally). For me, one way or another I was going to end up dancing and I am so happy I was introduced to this art. I have been dancing for as long as I can remember. I am so grateful I was able to grow in the art as a performer and as a person under the direction of my family, Ms. Margie, Ms. Melanie, Mrs. Meghan, and Mrs. Mandi for their direction, critiques, lessons, and memories. They are the back bone of LDDS and the studio would not be the same without their knowledge, compassion, and kindness. To my dance family, dancers and family members of the past and present thank you all for having such a powerful impact on me. Growing up as a male dancer wasn't always the easiest for me to make friends in school but I consider you all as my family. Your support and kindness have done wonders for me giving me the confidence to not be afraid to show people what I love to do. You have also taught me to always be proud of myself. I thank you all for everything you have done for me. To LDDS, thank you for shaping me into the person I am today and preparing me for the world ahead. For the next 4 years I will be attending Villanova University double majoring in English and Communications on a pre-law track planning to practice law in the future, while also continuing my performing arts journey. Saying goodbye to my second home will be the hardest thing I have to do. I have been raised in that studio ever since I was born and have met people I consider to be my own family members. I look up to you all in many different ways and am so grateful for every individual who has come into my life and who has supported me the past 17 years. Thank you for all the lessons, laughter, and memories. I will always carry this studio with me and never forget what I have learned. Thank you LDDS.

Hi, my name is Marissa Bartley and I am a graduating senior from Toms River High School East. I have been dancing with Lillian Dean Dance Studio for the past 15 years of my life. I have traveled to DisneyWorld and other local performances. Being a part of this team has taught me some of the most valuable life lessons that I will carry with me through every stage of my life. Lillian Dean has been by far my favorite chapter yet but as this one closes, I will be starting my new chapter at University of South Carolina where I will be majoring in Nursing. To my teammates, as fast as dance once entered your life, it’s going to come to an end and all of these moments together will turn into memories so put your all into every performance, don’t overthink it, and most of all have fun! Thank you for making this chapter so special, I will miss you!

Hey I’m Emily!! I am a graduating senior from Lacey Township High School. I started dancing when I was 2 1/2 but I have been dancing with Lillian Dean Dance Studio since I was 5. In my time here at Lillian Dean I have accomplished so much and I definitely believe the studio and the wonderful people in it have truly grown me into the person I am today. I will always cherish the time I have spent here. After my high school graduation, I plan to attend the University of Alabama where I will major in nursing and graduate with my Bachelors of Science and Nursing (BSN). I would love to thank Mrs. Margie and Mrs. Mel for everything they have done and the lessons I have learned that I will forever take along with me. To my teammates and younger dancers, thank you for being a part of my life and I love you all! Always remember to never take anything for granted and always give 150%.

LAST CHANCE- Attention all Lillian Dean Dance Studio alumni 18 years and older! If you are interested in performing in the 100th year recital on June 13, 2026, please comment below so we can add you to our contact list!

We have two weeks left of rehearsals until the big day. If you do not want to participate in the performance and would like an alumni T-shirt, please comment below (asap)and we will send you the information on how to purchase one. The deadline for the T-shirts is May 28.
