Unity Rockettes Dance Team The Unity Rockettes are competitive dance team and halftime spirit team for Unity High School.

The Rockettes have been entertaining Unit Seven schools since 1997. The Unity Rockettes Dance Team is a competitive team that competes in both the IHSA and IDTA competitive seasons. The Rockettes received 2nd place in the IDTA Hip Hop A State Finals in the 2014, 2015 and 2016 competitive dance season! They also received 7th place overall in the 2015 IHSA A Dance State Finals, and were IHSA Sectional Champions in 2016!

It's almost that time again!!

Junior Rockettes 2026-2027 tryouts are May 5th, 6th, and 8th from 6-8pm at Unity West! May 5th and 6th are the dance clinic days where we will learn the tryout routine, and tryouts will be on May 8th with the results posted on this page that same evening. Only one dance clinic is required, but attending both is highly recommended!

Tryouts are open to any Unity student going into 6th, 7th, or 8th grade for the 2026-2027 school year! Spread the word and we hope to see many future Junior Rockettes there!! 🚀

Tonight we celebrated our 2025-2026 Unity Rockettes Dance Team! Our new members were awarded their varsity letters and we gave four individual awards voted on by the dancers. We are so thankful for such a great season with these wonderful athletes! 🚀
