Finally got back in the park, for my birthday, and what a day it was! We had evening passes, and there was a sense of foreboding. We had checked into our hotel right across the street, and made sure we were at the turn style at 7:01. Before we got in, people were coming out of the park saying none of the bathrooms were working! We would not be deterred. We were going in, and we were going in hot! First ride, Indiana Jones. Got to the front of the line, and it broke down. Should we wait? Should we move on? I made the call. We're out of here. Let's hit Pirates. 15 minute line. Let's hit the Mansion. 15 minute line. Let's hit Rise... 20 minute line? Are you kidding me? Cool! Let's hit Smuggler's Run. Walked on. We haven't seen the Mickey Train yet... Walked on. Got some Bengal BBQ. Hey, Jungle cruise! Walked on. Star Tours, Blasters... walked on. No waits at all. A bit humid out, and very warm, but, that wasn't slowing us down! Time to take it down a notch. Alice in Wonderland... 15 minutes. Storybook land to close out the evening at Midnight under a full moon... You can't make this stuff up. 10 rides in 5 hours, plus fireworks, plus Bengal BBQ Spicy Banyan Skewers... It was the best birthday ever. You can't script this stuff. Finger kissed the golden spike, to pay tribute. Disneyland treated us well, and just a short walk back to the hotel. What a wonderful day. Best Birthday Ever.

Return of the Disney Dude. For my birthday, I am going to Disneyland for the first time in a long time. We don't get in until 7 PM, but that will be a solid 5 hours, and about what my tired old out of shape body can handle right now! I'm looking forward to the new Splash Mountain, and the new Smuggler's run! I'll post pics later!

Looking forward to the Iron Man ride! Should be awesome. Excited that Robert Downey Jr is putting in an appearance!

Super excited that Autopia is going all electric cars! That's so fitting for the Walt/Tomorrow land vibe! Once you've gotten old enough to have to drive yourself to Disneyland, park, take a tram, the idea of standing in a 2 stroke engine exhaust for an hour loses it's charm immediately. I will DEFINATELY check out the new electric cars!

I'm not a very good admin. I don't approve of any of the posts being shared. I would stop them if I knew how. This page is about cool Disneyland experiences. Share them! I will share mine! Improvement posts are cool. Off topic stuff, I do not endorse. This should be a happy, feel good place, like Disneyland. Let's concentrate on the positive. That being said, I will go off on kidifying Pirates, and the Haunted Mansion. Those were rights of passage when I was growing up. I remember kids crying coming off of those rides and thinking 'lightweight' at 5 years old... ;)
