The Valentine Theatre The Toledo Cultural Arts Center, a non profit organization, produces & provides cultural & performin

Originally opened in 1895, The Valentine Theatre is a 901-seat facility operated by the Toledo Cultural Arts Center, Inc. After a 21-year effort by the Board of Trustees and the community, the $28 million renovation was unveiled on October 9, 1999. Since the Gala re-opening, more than 800,000 people have attended 1000 international, national and area presentations, weddings and events. The Theatre

also produces its own performing arts series, featuring national and international attractions in additions to serving local performing arts organizations.

🎉 On this day in 1832, Gaetano Donizetti's The Elixir of Love (L'esir d'amore) premiered in Milan - and quickly became one of the most beloved comic operas of all time! 💘

With a lovesick peasant, a charming con artist, and a "magic" potion, this romantic comedy has been making audiences swoon and laugh for nearly 200 years.

We can't wait to bring this sparkling story to life next season at The Valentine Theatre! Join us as Nemorino discovers that love doesn't need a potion - just a little courage and a beautiful aria.
