Ed’s daughter posted this on our other mugglys page. It made me so proud of the atmosphere and people in our bowling community. We really do have a great little place here for everyone.

Dear friends,

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of my father, Ed Malnburg. Many of you were wonderful in keeping in touch with him as his health declined, and he greatly appreciated your card and outreach.

When he moved here three years ago after the passing of his second wife, I was worried about him connecting with new surroundings. However, the community at Muggly's embraced him immediately. He quickly went from bowling one night a week to three; I cannot express how much it meant to me that he found his "people." He truly looked forward to his bowling days (and loved showing off his car!)

While we initially considered hosting a celebration for him, we have decided to forgo a formal event. We simply ask that you remember him fondly. We do not request anything, but if you wish to honor his memory, he would have appreciated the gesture of donating a game to someone who might not otherwise be able to play.

Thank you for making him feel so welcomed and loved.
