We had a great week at Teutopolis Elementary School working with 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade builders! Thank you to the staff for allowing us to offer our workshop. The young builders did a fantastic job! To the parents—your kids did great in every way, courteous, respectful, helpful and overall diligent learners. Thank you for supporting our endeavor. Enjoy the pictures!

Hi Friends- especially those with kids in the Teutopolis Unit #50 Schools - specifically Grades 2-4. We are having a 4 day Builder camp after school beginning on Monday March 23rd. Share this post to help fill the remaining 6 bench spots! We filled up the first 10 really quickly and with a little assistance the remaining spots will be full. We are excited to work with these students to teach and also to learn from them - our youth are so creative! We had a great weekend at the Father Son Camp, Oakland, Illinois. At our annual Father Son build a patriotic theme project! The American Flag. The young builders measured, clamped, cut in the workshop then moved to the larger shop to sand, stain (new for this) then on to assembly and finishing with photos!
The smiles say it all! Thank you for the encouragement from the builders both young and older young.

Wrapped up a creative week of BenchWorx Builder Camp. This set of young builders took creativity to a new level. Our program offers samples to give some inspiration as a beginning point. First night report… we had a great afternoon and evening at Teutopolis Unit #50 Schools - Grade School
A great group of builders that represent their school and families very well!
We had fun learning and then getting turned loose to get really creative. I met so many parents and grandparents at pickup time- Thank you for your support!

We are back! After School Woodworking classes by BenchWorx! Parents - reach out to your school and ask them to allow Woodworking Workshops at your school.
A very special Thank you to Teutopolis Elementary School for allowing us to offer a workshop for 4th-6th grade students. Registration has been open for just over 24 hours and we have only 5 spots remaining!!! Thank you parents for supporting our efforts.

Here are some pictures from this weeks camp at Chances And Services for Youth. We had a great week and some really creative young builders! They all got to use real tools to complete their projects.
They measured, drew perpendicular lines with a try square, used a saw and a drill!
But look at the smiles, they tell their own story!
